One of the Six Creepiest Alt-Horror Cartoonists Around

I received a nod on the Robot 6 blog (or Robot 666, as it has been temporarily renamed for Halloween) for being one of six deeply creepy alt-horror cartoonists around. I humbly accept. Check out the link here.

Taffy Hips Interview

I just received a few complimentary issues of the new Taffy Hips – issue number five to be exact. The issue contains an interview between myself and Gil, one of the founders. It was a fun interview. Go pick up a copy at Desert Island or other fine establishments.

Interview | The Groovy Age of Horror

You can check out a very in-depth interview I did with Curt Purcell over at The Groovy Age of Horror blog right here. My answers are long, but Curt asked some really awesome questions. So, if you are patient enough to slog through my insane ramblings and rants you might learn a few things ... that aren't worth your effort. Well, you'll probably just get bored with how long-winded I am halfway through. Still, a big thanks to Curt, and everyone should check out his incredible flikr site here. You'll also see that Tim Hodler over at Comics Comics, calls me out on not identifying Paul Gulacy as a major influence in his awesome reaction here. People in the know, know Paul is the ace though.

Monster Show at DOMY

Here's my piece for the upcoming 4th Annual Monster Show at DOMY, cool bookstores in both Austin and Houston, Texas. The Austin store carries issues of Night Biz. I'm calling the piece Disemboweled Cyclops.

Harvey Pekar Portrait | Happy Birthday, Harvey

SPX Panel Transcript via Sean Collins

Check out the transcript of The New Action panel I was on at SPX from the panel's moderator Sean Collins right here. It was a blast to be on that panel and just skimming over the transcript I think we touched on a lot of interesting points. I wish we'd had longer to talk. The hour flew by.
